Attorney James Manning

 JAMES S. MANNING is owner of the Manning Law Firm, where he maintains a trial practice in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri and Harrisonville, Cass County, Missouri.  The firm is focused exclusively on plaintiff's personal injury and insurance coverage litigation. Mr. Manning started his firm after spending several years working as an insurance defense attorney. Mr. Manning handles a high volume of matters involving motor vehicle accidents, insurance coverage disputes, medical malpractice, dangerous premises, dangerous products, and general negligence. He has represented plaintiffs in litigation involving bad faith, the stacking of uninsured and underinsured policy coverages, and the nature and extent of property damage coverage. Mr. Manning has litigated cases in the state and federal courts of Missouri, including the U.S. Court of Appeals.  Reported decisions include Schubert v. Auto Owners, Braughton v. Esurance.  Mr. Manning is admitted to practice in Missouri and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri. Mr. Manning earned his B.A. degree from Rockhurst University and his J.D. degree from UMKC School of Law. He is a member of the Kansas City Bar Association, The Missouri Bar, and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
